Poetry Competition.

Hey there bloggers.
On Monday we did a poetry competition.
So about 6 weeks ago we were asked  to find a poem for the competition. You could either find a poem from the school poem books or from home or from on your chromebook or finally write one yourself. I found mine from the school books and so did most of my friends.
Then if you found one on the Chromebook or someone at the school poem books, then they print 2 out so one for you to bring home and the other to put in your writing book. You can also use actions in your poem.
On that day that you are going to do your poem you do it in separate class. Then everybody gets a sheet to score you and after a week they count up all of the points and then they announce who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The best people that I liked was Rudy and Jonathan and the cool thing about it is that they wrote it themselves.
After you finished your poem you get to pick what part of the production you want to be part of and then from there they will decide if the part is good for you.  The most scary part of the poetry competition is that the Deputy Principal is there. That is what the competition is like at our school.
Thank you for seeing my blog post.

Toolkits

Student toolkits
Hi friends! On Tuesday 18th of June, all of the Ako-Hiko schools did Toolkits.

So toolkits is about sharing a cool website that you like and you can show the Ako-Hiko schools but it was only the seniors who did it in our school. First we had to share our idea with the class then we got chosen to do the presentation to the other school and on the  15 Wednesday on June some of the people got chosen to watch the presentation. Then we did a survey to choose what presentation to do for each session. For my first session I could not do it because the internet was going slow because of everybody going on in the same time and the thing was we did it online because of lockdown and for my second one I did piskel. So here is some pictures.

Reading tumbles

Hi bloggers from around the world.
On Wednesday 15th of june we did reading tumbles and for my reading tumble I did making a poster about black and white people can mix up even if you have different skin colour. Just like the one when that black man saved a white man because of the other black people.

So here is my unfinished poster.

Creative writing.😊😊😊

Hello there my friends.
2 weeks ago the whole of Te Waka Ako did a story or any type of writing, but before that we had to choose a picture of what we wanted to write about. I choose a picture of a girl and a wolf on a broken place and it kinda looks like they are of pancakes and the way that I did it was  a story , about a girl whose life became good. The story is called It Became Good. Here is my story. It was a narrative story. Link
