Monoprint

 Hi blogger commenters

Today I am blogging about a monoprint we did when we came back from lockdown to school.  I monoprint is one time art. Here is what you need for a monoprint.

  • A3 size paper x2
  • A4 size bored x2
  • Ink x2 if want or 1
  • Water crayon
  • Pencil
  • Art book / Paper
  • Rulers
  • Roller
Here is how you make it
  • First you draw a picture of what you want to draw on your art book.
  • Then you draw on the A3 paper you draw around the A4 paper in the middle.
  • Then you draw on the A3 paper and draw the same picture in side the border of the A4
  • Then you draw the border again and transfer the original picture draw  using  a window, to see it easily.
  • After that you prepare a an board with printing ink and a roller.
  • Roll the ink evenly onto a print block board.
  • Cover the drawing image carefully on top of the print block board.
  • Draw over your picture.
  • Carefully lift the print paper off the print block board.
Here is some photos of poeples art.

  1. Tino pai Daiki. Thanks for the detailed instructions. I think I understand how you made these. I think a video would be really awesome in case people don't quite understand what to do. The prints look amazing. What was the trickiest part?
