Te Waka Akos Olympic

 Hi Bloggers

On Monday the 15th on August Te Waka ako had there own Olympics. It was so much fun. But we werent playing games that you normaly play. It was very diffrent for example one of the games was who could chuck the gumboot the furthest. At the end the 3 top teams who had got the best scores got given medals, like the Olympics. How you got scores was there was 1 adult on ech station and when you finish the game you hand them the clip board and they would fill in for example in one we got 2/3 for sportsminship. At the start we also got given a country. My teams was Cuba. Here is some pics of the day.

  1. Hi Daiki, it's great to see you blogging from home during this Level 4 lockdown. The day you've described was a lot of fun for the students in Te Waka Ako. I like how you've explained one of the activities and how you were awarded points. What was your favourite activity on the day? Is there a way that your bubble could engage in some of these activities as a way of maintaining fitness and fun during lockdown? Keep up the awesome work, I'll look forward to your next post.

  2. Was a fabulous day. I was pretty sure someone may have got me with a gum boot as some of you boys had a great arm for throwing. Cant wait to read more posts, you are doing a great job. See you Monday at the online google meet.
